HPI Wheely King 4WD RTR Monster Truck
i have had 2 of these now and with out a dout this is the best truck i have ever owned. i have owned 2 slash, a desert truck, an e10, and a ax10 scorpion, and this blows them all away. the only thing i recomend is getting a traxxas servo saver, after that the truck is pretty much indestructable. if you put the rock crawler conversion on it (just for the extended wheel base like i do) put in a venom 15t, and a better speed control and you will be amazed with how much torgue it has and how fast it is (DON'Y PUT THE LOCKERS IN IT IF YOU DO THIS, unless you want to go through axles like crazy).

HPI Wheely King 4WD RTR Monster Truck
Awesome truck. it does tend to roll when you crank the wheel at high speed on asphalt or concrete. But it is a monster truck. diggin in the snow and mud is sweet. Put some 2s 5000 mah lipos in it and it boosted the speed to about 20mph. checked it on a radar gun. and after an hour on one lipo i quit before the battery did. ordered the extended wheel base. my buddy has it on his and it reduces the instability quite a bit. Good for the money. tons of upgrades to do. if you are looking for speed maybe a lower cg truck would be better, but if you want to dig in the snow and mud or rugged terrain this is the truck.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS TRUCK, email me at brok3232@gmail.com This is a great truck for the money. Screw construction makes installing option parts a snap. The stock spur/pinion gears give a great balance of torque and speed (stock it goes 12mph), but with some gear changes (i use a 43tooth pinion gear and a 78 tooth spur gear) this truck hits 18mph (totally legitimate, I have a radar gun and i checked the speed).

HPI Wheely King 4WD RTR Monster Truck
I've had mine for about 9 months now and I love this thing. As far as handling, well its top heavy, slower than the average RTR, the suspension is stiff, so landings are silly bouncy. I have converted this truck to a crawler and back to a Wheely King and to a crawler again only to find out that I have the most fun with it when its a "Wheely King". I like how its smaller size allows me to play with it in the house, yet large enough for outside bashing. Its funny how its handling characteristics don't equate for racing, but this thing is a ton of fun to drive! After the curbs, tree stumps, rocks, and yes, cliffs I've ran into/jumped off of. I can can attest that this thing is a like a little tank! Hey, get some extra shock shafts if you plan to do all that though. (I bent one once) I recently put a brushless system in it, and needless to say that fixed the "slow" problem. Its a bit of a handful though to drive it with brushless, but it WILL put a grin on your face! Combined with all the options parts available, this truck is easily one of the most fun bash trucks out there. Oh, as far as jumps you gotta try it brushless, you'll laugh your head off!

HPI Wheely King 4WD RTR Monster Truck
To answer the question posted about how it handles, it handles like a big, top heavy monster truck with huge soft tires. That being said, for the price its an awful lot of fun, and it is tons better than anything comperable in its price range like the Tamiya Lunch Box. You can also switch between handling mode, and rock crawler mode and use it as an entry level rock crawler.

For what it is, this is a great truck, its smaller than a lot of the monster trucks out there, but that means you can run it inside or outside.

HPI Wheely King 4WD RTR Monster Truck
Fun truck. Comes right up for wheely action. I changed the motor because it was way to slow for my taste. Very durable truck though. But the problem it always gave me was the rear diff. From all the wheelies alot of torque was transfered to the rear so it kept stripping out on me. They make a heavy duty rear diff now though. So maybe this problem is fixed. Tips over quite often which can get annoying but it is a monster truck so thats expected. Another issue I has was the center rear drive shaft kept disconnecting aftera jump. For the most part you can reconnect it on the spot but it is a b*ch lol. For what its meant to do its not bad. Its tough and doesnt break often. But upgrade to the heavy duty rear diff rigth away if you're thinking of putting a hotter motor in there.
