This is an optional Hot Racing Axial SCX24 Steel Center Driveshaft, intended for use with the Axial SCX24 and (AXI00002V2 & AXI00001) vehicles as an upgraded, tougher option over stock parts.

Hot Racing Axial SCX24 Steel Center Driveshaft (AXI00002V2 & AXI00001)
The inputs on the HR steel drive shafts are fully round unlike the OE input/output shafts that are half circles. My order came with set screws rather than the screws pictured. The diameter of the set screw is wider than the OE screws as well. HR should at least outfit theses with grub screws instead of set screws??? Additionally, the drive shafts cannot be phased correctly if the set screws are lined up on the flat side of the output shaft. Maybe I missing something? I welcome any insight/help and will gladly change my rating if I've misunderstood or overlooked something.
