Specifically designed for extreme running in top 1/10 and 1/12 scale competition racing, the V10 G2 series motors and are compliant with ROAR, IFMAR, BRCA and JMRCA rules. They featuring the perfect combination of high quality materials, exquisite craftsmanship and cutting edge technology, the V10 G2 series provide the extra advantage all professional racers are looking for with minimal maintenance required.

I gotta say this HW 17.5 motor will not put you on the podium at all in 2wd buggy but I think it would more suit a 4wd buggy with torquey characteristics. maybe I got a dud but mine seems to lack power and run hot.
Being capable of 3s might have something to do with its lacks the pace on 2s.
For an extra $10 get the reedy sonic m3.)
