HB Racing Aluminum Rear Skid Plate
I broke the stock plastic skid plate the very first day. I replaced both the front and rear skid plates with aluminum and have had no problems since. These are very strong and have withstood my poor landings many times.

If you own a Ve8 with a stock chassis but this upgrade. I broke two of the plastic ones very easily, bought one of these and there's no way I'm worried now. It's super quality and can take a beating. I was going to get a HUH chassis but may just not bother now this thing is great.

HB Racing Aluminum Rear Skid Plate
This is an absolute must have if you intend to run the Ve8 with a stock chassis. The plastic skid plates are very fragile and prone to breaking. The aluminum version greatly strengthens the chassis. Make sure you get both front and rear. If you couple these with the Hot Bodies UPDATED stock chassis, you have made your Ve8 chassis bulletproof. Understand though that the aluminum adds more weight to an already heavy car. It's a small price to pay though for the added durability. Besides, the extra weight of the buggy gives a more "planted" feel and more traction.
