Furitek Micro Stellar Transmission w/ Cedar Brushless Inrunner Motor (SCX24)
Installed on SCX24 C10. This motor is much larger than stock and sits in a different position from the stock location. I had to cut the stock ESC tray to get this to fit and I mounted the Furitek Python Pro ESC next to it on the remaining portion of the tray using VHB tape. This leaves little room on the truck for the stock RX so I ended up zip tying it on the side next to the battery tray. It was difficult to say the least to get this to work with that truck due to limited space. I could see this being much easier to use on a custom build.
However, now that this is installed I do love this combo. Paired with the Python Pro ESC (sold separately) the FOC works great and the truck has tons of power. I wouldn't say its any faster than stock it actually may be a tad slower. It is a relatively quiet motor but does sound somewhat like a power drill as it winds up.
*This combo is the only way to get the Stellar Transmission, they do not sell it separately.
