Dollar for dollar out of the box this thing is pretty capable I don’t care for the shocks and the tires. The tires do work very well on rocks, but not so well in a little bit of loose dirt. The steering servo can definitely also be upgraded it is very slow and not very strong. All of my other crawlers are brushless and extremely smooth. This one for being a brushed motor it could use an upgraded ESC, but it does seem to be very smooth. I’m not a huge fan of the planetary box. The motor goes into because you can’t change the pinion gear for more or less wheel speed, the body is extremely detailed and looks very good. I love that it comes with mirrors and Aaron and some hard plastic parts on it. The flatbed is great. Also, you have to run a fairly small battery in this vehicle. The biggest I was able to fit was a 3600mah three Cell Lipo . And I still got really good runtime out of it. I would definitely recommend this vehicle it seems to be very durable. I’ve ran about three or four battery packs through it with no issues at this time.

Being this is my first rock crawler/trail truck it seems well constructed, the recommended 3S battery is too much for going slow through the rock trails around here, i recommend a 2S.
The shocks are on the stiff side, so finding softer ones are another recommendation for getting better suspension articulation while rock crawling.
Overall a good bargain for a starter trail truck/crawler.
