The Master Series Mustang is a classic warbird that provides as much satisfaction in building as it does flying it! Utilizing Master Series build techniques and designed by John Overstreet, the build experience for this aircraft is absolutely remarkable. The FT Master Series Mustang is a very scale representation of one of the most iconic warbirds. The kit comes with two different canopy options so you can build it as the D model with a bubble canopy or a B model with a razorback canopy. The Mustang is capable of standard aerobatics and high energy flight that any experienced 4 channel pilot would enjoy.
This aircraft uses the Flite Test Power Pack C with a traditional 4 channel setup and has a wide performance envelope that intermediate and advanced pilots will love! This is a fantastic next chapter for anyone looking to advance from our classic Mustang kits to a more scale and sophisticated design!

Best Master Series Plane Yet!!!
My son and I have built numerous of the Master Series Planes: first, the Corsair, then the Razorback, the Spitfire, and the P-38, and now the Mustang. All planes fly incredibly well due, in part, to the fact that they are much lighter than foam planes of the same size. However, the Mustang is definitely our favorite. It is a true pleasure to build and flies exceptionally well. Just the battery hatch alone is such a smart design (you nailed it, John). We use the Flite Test C Pack and a 4S 2200 mAh battery. We love the plane so much that we have already begun to build a second one. The Razorback is a close second; we also have another one of these on the way. The Corsair is probably the easiest to fly given its big wings and short fuselage, but it's definitely less speedy. The P-38 is in a category of its own; very easy hand launches, probably the best looking plane in the sky, but a little "too lame" for my son... Long story short, the Master Series is simply amazing.

Flite Test Mustang Master Series "Maker Foam" Electric Airplane Kit (1225mm)
I did the scratch build, and it looks really good even though this is my first FT plane (although I have done some custom planes). The build was really easy and straight forward. I have not flown it yet. I am flying it of of a 2250 4S, with the power pack C.
Flite Test, can you please include pushrods with your power packs. This would help scratch building.
Also, why is this discountinued? This is one of the Best FT planes ever from what I have heard.
