The Flight Club Tokio X Racing Drone kit is built with the focus on crash durability, and outright performance. Thanks to its durable external shell, 99.8% of the time, incredible hard crashes will only result in a couple broken prop, maybe a smashed camera lens, and other insignificant occurences. Stuff does break, and nothing is indestructible!
Tokio X incorporates a "butter mount" for the flight controller stack by incorporating O-ring isolated flight controller mounting screws & standoffs that virtually eliminates vibrations transferred to the flight controller.
The canopy found on the Tokio X is the heart of the frame. Providing not only clean aesthetics, but practical protection, the canopy is what sets this model apart from the rest. Canopy mounting involves the use of only two screws, providing quick and easy maintenance possibilities. Camera protection has additionally been incorporated into the canopy design. By offering a thick protruded lip around the camera lens, a flexible canopy its self, and a bendable bracket that mounts the camera, simple crashes that destroy cameras on other frames are only laughable occurences with the Tokio X. Lastly, video transmitter & antenna protection have not been forgotten about! Featuring a downslope of 15 degrees, the antenna and VTX are placed down below the props during operation and tuck between the two back motors. In the event of an upside down landing, the antenna will not come into contact with Mother Earth.
The carbon fiber frame has received just as much design love as the canopy. Featuring the incredible butter mounting, extremely elegant chamfered outer edges, flat bottom, and hypotense cut 0/90 cut carbon carbon fiber (rotated 45 degrees during manufacturing), the frame offers both clean looks, and incredible durability.
