The Flex Innovations QQ Extra 300G2 is the second generation of the very popular and successful QQ Extra 300. Improvements from the Flex Innovations' Design Team and valuable feedback from customers around the world have been incorporated to evolve the QQ Extra 300G2 to the next level!

The Potenza 10 BL motor (1400kv) paired with a larger 50A ESC delivers more power that translates into more punch out from a hover and greater top speed. The Potenza DS15 digital servos offer better precision and better reliability. Vibrant new color schemes bring outstanding visibility and modern flavor.

A perfectly balanced airframe and super light design have been combined with today’s most Advanced Flight Control System, the Aura 8. Using the latest Aura 8 firmware, the QQ Extra 300G2 gives an unmatched flying experience. Pilots will feel smooth, predictable and precise aircraft control without any bounce back or interference to pilot inputs. The aircraft will fly as if it were much larger with turbulent air being less noticeable, rotations stopping more precisely, and smoother landings!

The meticulous Quique Somenzini design and manufacturing of the QQ Extra 300G2 gives you light and stiff at the same time due to the hollow interior design with strength from carbon fiber in key locations. Because it is EPO foam, it remains tough and repairable.

The Night version now incorporates LEDs INSIDE the fuselage to increase visibility at darkness. A new LED controller that allow the pilot to turn the LED lights on/off in flight.

The QQ Extra 300G2 is all around the perfect airplane for those wanting to do sport flying or 3D aerobatics with maximum fun and minimal hassle! It’s the Go-To airplane!

Flex Innovations QQ Extra 300G2 Super PNP Electric Airplane (Night Green)
Airplane comes well packaged. All the parts have their own separate bag they come in. I had some packaging tape stuck to my carbon spars and prop. Had to scrape off the adhesive on those parts. Otherwise I was happy with the packaging.

Assembly went pretty good. The wings were a little tough to install. They fit really tight which is good, just need to be careful not to dent or wrinkle the foam when installing. The wings come with 2 led strips on each end. My right wing led's had the adhesive backing already pulled off and I had to glue the led strips down instead of peeling off the backer and sticking to the SFG's. Not that big of a deal though. Just not sure why they would send it out like that. Landing gear and tail gear seems pretty standard. Good amount of flex but feels solid in the mounting system.

Got it all assembled and bound to my radio. Centered the control surfaces as best I could. The LED's you can turn on and off with an Aux 1 switch on your radio. That's pretty sweet it comes with a module to do that. Lights are super bright too.

Took it out for the maiden flight and got it all trimmed out. Flight Mode 1 and 2 are very mild. They feel like low low rates. Flight mode 1 is no gyro, low rates. Flight mode 2 is gyro and low rates. I could barely tell the difference between the flight modes. Flight mode 3 is 3d mode. That's when this thing shines. Super fun to bang the sticks around. Flatspins are very nice. Knife edge is very easy to maintain. Inverted flight is excellent. This plane does pretty much anything you can throw at it. The lights look really good at night too. The plane looks like a flying glow stick lol. I do notice it has some wing rock on slow harriers. I'm just an amateur pilot so it very well could be my lack of skill.

It comes with a programming cable for the Aura 8. I will mess around with that to change some rates around on each flight mode. I will say the stabilization is much better than the BNF Eflite planes. It's more fluid and seems quicker to respond to sudden movements.

If you're looking for a fun 3d/sport plane, I highly recommend this one. Hopefully the quality/packing issues were just with my plane. I won't knock any points off for that. The plane performs great and the setup was very simple. It's a well thought out plane and flies very well.

Flex Innovations QQ Extra 300G2 Super PNP Electric Airplane (Night Green)
So far, it seems like a great plane. A real floater. Weather hasn't been the greatest here in the Columbia River Gorge.
