Exotek RC10 B6.2 Aluminum HD Fan Mount Mount

I picked up what I think could be all of the known remaining stock levels of Exotek and JConcepts optional and “upgrade” parts for the B6.2 I’m attempting to finishfoe the third time. The B6.2 back when I built it, and shortly after finishing it with all the parts I had found at the time, I was once again digging through all the my local RC shop/ track digging through the never ending bins and boxes of parts and tires and bodies, much of it is current stuff plus a huge amount of “out of production+new” and used on-ramp towards QFC and the chicks era styling I found this little aluminum fan mount at my local RC shop last time I was there so I had to grab it as I knew it would make my car way faster…. I’ve never liked or understood why Associated puts the fan mount where it is on the B6.2 and 6.3, as you have to drill a bunch of big holes in the body so the fan can even work because the body rests against and completely blocks the inlet side of the fan. While this part does exactly what it’s supposed to do and looks great doing it, they really should have changed it a bit so it would move the fan to the similar area that they are in the TLR 22 5.0 Elite. If I can’t figure out a good performing + secure way to mount it, I’ll just use some good double sided tape to move it.
