The E-flite Ultimate 3D Biplane PNP Electric Airplane features unmistakable lines and delivers exhilarating performance — in full-scale and in RC model form. This aircraft has garnered respect from pilots around the world for its incredible aerobatic capabilities. Gordon Price built and flew the first 10 Dash "Ultimate" design in the mid 1980s and flew the 10-300 in the 1988 World Aerobatic Championships. E-flite debuted the Ultimate2 in 2015, earning praise from RC pilots worldwide for its solid aerobatic performance and 3D capabilities. With the Ultimate 3D, E-flite has updated and upgraded that proven airframe to modern-day standards.

Its power system offers better 3S performance and BALLISTIC power with a 4S battery. Higher-torque and higher-speed metal-geared servos keep you firmly in control with the extra power. It's also equipped with a 60-amp Spektrum Avian Smart ESC, and when equipped with a Smart compatible receiver like the Spektrum AR637TA, provides access to a full-range telemetry including real-time battery voltage, current, temperature and more – along with motor reversing for special ground handling and other capabilities – when using compatible transmitters.

Great plane, still good without AS3X and Spectrum.

I got this kit to get back into 3D, and I am not a spectrum guy, so PNP it was. The recommended throws are quite high, especially roll, due to 4 ailerons. So unless you're ready to smack down, lower at least the aileron throws to get comfortable. Kit quality was exactly as I expected. Easy assembly, parts line up, surfaces move smoothly. Flies great on 4s, make sure your CG is spot on or slightly aft in my experience.

Only complaint is the wheels are too small. So not a quality issue, just choice of parts doesn't suit most fields I go to, even with nice grass. I slapped on some generic DuBro 2.75" lite wheels, and they are bolt-on success, much easier taxiing and landings. Great kit, as fun as everyone says it is!

Its not a good 3D plane. Its a great sport flyer . Fit & finish are perfect.Pefect CG balance with a 2200 4S.
I maidened in very windy conditions, handles wind with no issues. Wings and tail and covered with a clear tape, so cant be easily painted if you want a different paint scheme.
Not much room in the batt compartment, thats my only critism.
