The E-Flite Twin Otter 1.2m BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE technology was carefully modeled after the real DHC-Twin Otter. Designed in 1965 by de Havilland Canada this plane was a rugged STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) commuter aircraft. Being capable of operating in extremely harsh environments, such as sub-zero temperatures and blistering heat, this plane excelled at transportation. E-flite stepped in and modeled a true scale replica of this plane. Land or water this plane comes equipped for both by including the optional float set. This would make for a perfect first twin motor plane all the way up to a true aerobatic performer. The Twin Otter 1.2m offers a great flying experience that a wide range of pilots can enjoy.
