EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I just put this motor in my TLR 22 3.0 with a 31/69 gearing, 40* of motor timing and the exotek slipper eliminator and all I can say is WOW! I have used all the top brands from Trinity D3.5 and D4, ShuurSpeed, Orion and Tekin and I think this motor is by far the best one I have used. I run indoor med/high bite clay w/ slicks, using a HobbyWing 3.1 and this thing comes off at 120* after 7 mins. For 60 bucks this motor is a steal!

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I purchased one of these motors about 4-5 months ago to run in my Associated SC5M short course truck. I have been very pleased with the performance and maintenance of this motor. It's the diamond in the ruff motor compared to all the other well known brand names. Try it you won't be disappointed. The only reason I did not rate this motor five stars is because the seƱor wire broke loose from one of the terminals the 3rd time I went out to race. So I had to purchase a new one at the track. I now have a soft ribbon style sensor wire compared to the sheathed type sensor wire that came with the motor. I thought the original one looked cool but it was too ridged and stiff I think that's why I had the problem. I plan to buy another one of these motors for the B5M Lite buggy that I'm building right now.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I took a gamble and tried this motor out and I would just like to say this is one of the best 17.5 motors I have ever ran in 17.5 buggy. I was running at the 702 toys for tots race and ended up finishing second in stock and contended in mod. The heat dispersion is fantastic I have it cranked to 40 Degrees of timing and geared to the moon and it comes off every time at exactly 153 in heats and 167 in mains. Also the Green sensor cable is a very cool ascetic feature in my all green car. I love this motor 5 of 5. If they ever make any modified motors I will be the first to jump on it.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I chose to try this motor out in my SCX10 Baja crawler, because it would be a good balance between slow approach smoothness, top speed, and torque. It fully satisfied all my expectations, but I will note that it was a challenge to disassemble, in order to dip the sensor board in CorrosionX (waterproofing). I paired it with a Turnigy 120A Gen II esc, and FlySky TX/RX. When the Turbo kicks in, this motor gets it on!

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I own a couple of these. I have read other reviews. Comparing them to S speed or any other motor is not fair. 1st, their 1/2 the price. If I run any two motors on same gearing their going to have different "sweet spots" for torque and temp.....This one can get hot. I run lower gearing with max timing and use an RX8 fan in both instances. My YZ-2 and my 22T.....Both are plenty fast. People tend to wanna GEAR UP to much.....IMHO you can get more by gearing down and crushing the 1st 10 feet out of a corner than the last 10 feet.....17.5 is VERY competitive and the only thing slowing me down with this motor is ME......I have REEDY mach 2's in other applications 13.5 etc which are GREAT but if A Main put out ECO POWER motor in 13.5T I would own one as well. Buy with confidence.....

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
My son runs this motor in both his stock B5m buggy and his stock SC10SCT. We like the fact that it is green, which not only goes with the color theme of his cars, but also is just different from everything else out there. Having dual inputs for mounting options of the sensor wire is a really nice touch. The green sensor wire that comes with the motor is a little fragile, the green sheath came off on one of them, but we managed to repair it. This motor can run a little warm, but nothing scary as long as you are keeping an eye on it and not burning 20 minute practice sessions. For heat racing and mains it is more than within acceptable ranges. I run Reedy Mach2 Sonics in both my buggy and SCT, and these motors can easily hang with them even though these motors are way cheaper. My Reedy's run a little cooler, but other than that these motors pull just as hard down the straight and come just as hard out of the corners for a lot less dough. You can almost buy two of these motors for the price of one Reedy Mach2. We have at least a dozen races on these motors and are thoroughly impressed with them. They look sharp and go fast, all while keeping your wallet thicker. 'Nuff said.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
This is an impressive motor. I normally run Prostock buggy and deal with the 17.5 motor of the week war. After purchasing this I was impressed with the performance of similar models that are in the $100+ range. Motor is a workhorse and has the power to push to the front. The powerband is the best I have felt. With the ROAR approval rating on this and the price, you can not beat this motor. From rookie to Prostock this motor has the power to run up front.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
i received my sling shot a few days ago, and i must say i am blown away. Never did i think a budget aspect club motor could pack so much power, even on zero timing it ran as good as my vulcan 17.5 OUTLAW with 0 timing, seriously impressed. Although i have not ran the motor over 150 degrees, i have ran the motor for about five hours on my backyard course. I had the pleasure of using it in a local amain at a nearby track and ended up in 2nd which says something considering i had no time to adjust my esc or motor to the track. I loved the dual sensor ports and heat dissipation along with the green sensor cable which ties everything together. Another great budget product from ecopower that competes with some of the fastest 17.5 motors, equal to a trinity D3 in my opinion!

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
Love the motor, cant say enough about it, ran in my B5mFL, I had no issues against amy other high dollar motors on the track.. Plan on buying another one for my truck. I did crank the timing to around 48 but thats were i notice 95% of the racers have theres on the high end motors.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
This motor really is worth getting over any other motor because it performs just as good as Orion, Tekin, Trinity, Novak, Schurr Speed, and viper motors. It stays cool.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I purchased this motor a few weeks ago and was immediately impressed with it's performance. Installed in my 2w buggy it was just off the pace of fellow racers who are running considerably more expensive motors. After adjusting the timing on the motor(it comes preset at 30 degrees) to around 40 degrees, the motor was simply awesome. After a 7 minute run it comes off the track at a respectable 135 degrees. A great buy, especially at it's price point. Purchase this motor and a slipper eliminator and contend.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
this motor is a great buy. I run it at a local track and was blown away by it's low torque power.it was definitely a contender against more costly 17.5 motor i would recommend it.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
beautiful motor, this green monster packs a mean punch, i dont know what it is but this baby feels faster than a lot of other competitive sensored motors for 2wd buggy racing. It even got me friend who uses a losi 13.5 sensored motor to scoff at how fast it is. Im using 30 to 74 gearing and i love it. Perfect for tight indoor offroad racing, just dont be surprised if you get more power than your asking for, and if others say your motor is too fast just know this is ROAR approved and it is FAST. Most definitely putting this in my upcoming sc5m build.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
This thing is awesome. I picked one up just this week and already have up my racing game by 1/2-3/4 secs a lap. Only gripe I have is that they have only built these in 17.5t. I was pushing the mod guys hard with this in blinky and a really hefty gear with it getting a lil heat and the stock 30degrees timing. The motor pulls so hard out of the hole and sustains a strong power band. Please AMain build a mod motor!!!

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
Slowest 17.5 motor I have ever purchased. Picked today because of good reviews. Ran 1 pack through this motor tried to make serval changes to increase torque/speed and it was a complete dog. Super bummed on my Purchase. Out $60 plus and now have a motor I will never use. I would love to talk with ecopower about a possible return or swap for the newer version. As of now I will never purchase another one from this brand nor recommend to anyone looking.

EcoPower "Sling Shot" Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T) (ROAR Approved)
I paired with a hobbywing justock esc but its not as fast as your higher end motors. Hobbystar 17.5 V2 is comparable in price and out performed this motor hands down!
