This is the Blade 450 X Bind-N-Fly Flybarless Electric Collective Pitch Helicopter. The Blade heli development team has decades of combined RC experience designing or flying everything from ultra micros to high-performance 3D machines. It’s their expertise that makes the Blade 450 X the ultimate 450-size heli experience. Not only does it come packed with great features such as the lightest airframe in its class and rigid head design, but it also comes with a new helical main drive system to make the heli quieter and digital metal-gear servos to enhance precision and durability. At the core of its awesome performance is the Spektrum AR7200BX Flybarless Control System; a remarkable advance that combines a 7-channel DSMX receiver with BeastX 3-axis MEMS stabilization into a single, lightweight unit. This, combined with a high-output brushless power system, a vibrant canopy and carbon fiber blades means that you’re in for a spectacular 3D heli experience.

DSMX SECURITY + BEASTX PRECISION IN ONE UNIT
The precision and responsiveness of BeastX flybarless technology completely transforms any heli flying experience. The 450 X brings you all the benefits of this technology through the amazing Spektrum AR7200BX Flybarless Control System; a 7-channel DSMX receiver with a BeastX 3-axis MEMS stabilization system in a single, compact unit weighing barely over 1/2 an ounce (18 g). Perhaps best of all is how simple the AR7200BX is to use. No special programming interface is needed to make adjustments. All you need to fine tune its response is the DSM2/DSMX transmitter it’s bound to.

Blade 450 X Bind-N-Fly Flybarless Electric Collective Pitch Helicopter w/BeastX
I have this helicopter and fly as your want. It's strong for beginners, very stable in aile conditions very fast... the ony negative thing for me is the elevator control lever brace. I así to horizon hobby how do to replace this part and they says that i need to disasemble the main frame :(. Then else all is right and easy maintenance, setup.

Blade 450 X Bind-N-Fly Flybarless Electric Collective Pitch Helicopter w/BeastX
Wow! after the nano cpx and 130x this is light years ahead. So much easier to manage than I anticipated however I did tame it down using John Salt's setup guide, see rchelicopterfun.com
It arived with the swashplate set about 17mm which is 2mm higher than it should be. I went through and completely set it up again. Then I discovered that the elevator control arm was binding on the aileron servo control horn during step L (adjusting cyclic swashplate limit) in the BeastX setup. To get around this I have ordered and replaced the two standard length ball joints with the longer ones normally used for the inner ring of the swashplate. This has allowed the full movement with swash set at correct height.
So I was a little nervous as I've really only been flying helis for about 6 months.
Today was the first two 4 min flights. battery was only used down to 58% so I could probably get a 4.5 min flight no trouble. Keep in mind I was in tamed down settings. I would highly recommend this heli to the experienced pilot.

Blade 450 X Bind-N-Fly Flybarless Electric Collective Pitch Helicopter w/BeastX
Great helicopter! I'm still a beginner, so I still have it on very mid settings and it is easy to fly. I did use the simulator for a few hours before flying the 450X which helped quite a bit. I have about 1 hour total on this bird and so far so good. :)

Blade 450 X Bind-N-Fly Flybarless Electric Collective Pitch Helicopter w/BeastX
Excellent! Super stable. Powerful. Flies perfect right out of the box. I have the version right before this one with the nylon servo gears and the straight drive gears. Tail holds solid. Flips and rolls are a breeze once you get the confidence. Moving parts last long enough to where I'm getting a little worried that something's got to be wearing out but everything checks out fine. I did wear out the motor, though. Upgraded to the 450H and castle creations speed controller. Such a great heli! Blade customer service is very good unlike Align which is simply nonexistent. Amain order processing and shipping is second to none.
