Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
This helicopter is the 180 it should have been 4 years ago. The tail motor makes magic happen. Works better than the Fusion 180. Buy it now!

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
I’m mainly a fixed wing guy who occasionally dabbles in micro and sub micro helis. In the past I’ve flown submicro fixed and collective pitch helis. My skills are very limited to basic flying and orientation, with some loops and rolls. So not having done any heli flying in awhile I first
Got a blade 70s to reacquaint myself to basic flying skills. So then I wanted something a little bigger but not tooooooo big, but I wanted something sturdy and built with quality. So the 150s seemed to ffit the bill : Carbon frame, metal gear Servos ( not the cheap linear ones), sturdy aluminum tail boom, I was afraid that it might be toooo much for me to handle,,, but WOW!! NO!! This thing flys completely AWESOME!!
In stability mode is as easy or even easier to fly than the 70s. Set up per manual was straightforward and easy, flew perfectly right out of the box. Seems very very stable for its size. I can easily fly it in limited space in my front yard. I think Blade hit it outa the park on this one.

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
I have many blade products and love them all. I have had a blade 180cfx for many years and only thing i did with it was did the belt drive tail conversion with it. Its a tiny monster in a box so when i saw the 150s was comming out with same main frame and main motor it was a no brainer for me. Sometimes its just nice to have self level and do some circuits little heli is super stable even with safe turned off. These newer helis even ones that are not from blade are a massive far cry from older helis. I learned on an original blade 120sr around 12 years ago and still have it and fly it if that shows any sign of the quality of blade products. So this 150s is a win great for someone who is still learing but has some experience but its also great for someone whos been flying for years and wants something to more throw around and have less worries.

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
Been in and out of the hobby over nearly 20 years. Came back, and picked up this helicopter to help relearn my lost skills. It is a great size for backyard/small park low stress flying. Quality and build seems great. Everything was screwed in appropriately and all servos were centered out of the box. I paired this helicopter with the Tattu 75C, 450 mAh, XT30 connector batteries, which are a very tight fit under the stock canopy (but the Fusion 180 canopy fits perfectly).

I did have some tail wag out of the box. Amain support was excellent and through adjusting the PID tail gains, I have trimmed out all wag. This being said, I do not have a Spectrum transmitter so I did my adjustments by eye-balling swash plate angles per the manual (surprisingly straightforward and quick). Helicopter is flying great!

Overall very happy with my purchase and with Amainhobbies!

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
I own a range of helis. Trex500X, Blade 360CX 3S, Blade 230sV2. I have owned and flow several Micro's - Nano CPS, NanoS2, mCPx Bl2. This is the most impressive Micro BY FAR. The 150S is stable and has impressive power. It literally can be dialed to fly at whatever level you desire, from snappy 3D all the way down to just cruising around a small back yard for touch and go practice and simple circuits. Every other micro I've owned has been "temperamental" to say the least, flying decent one day and being twitchy or having "drift" the next day. The 150S, with micro "traditional rotary" servos and an actual 6 channel nanolite AS3X receiver makes a huge difference I'm certain. Another bid deal is the fact that you will easily get 4-6 mins (depending on style) of flight time with the recommended 450ma batteries. A clear WINNER for Blade !!

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
I'm back into dabbling with helicopters after about 10 years off. My skills are sport flying, light 3D stuff. One of the best micro helis I've ever flown. Great power, tail holds very well, flies like a much larger bird. GET ONE. :)

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
Rock solid helicopter! Plugged in all the transmitter settings from the manual, the manual that came with the model had been updated so I downloaded it and used those newer settings. Very stable in both gyro settings. The tail rotor is very effective and steady, with the three blades it really cranks up and sings. I don’t usually recommend smaller heli’s to learn with but this is an exception plus it has the capability to perform 3D as well. I haven’t wrung it out but it hovers inverted nicely and loops and rolls just fine. I’m stuck in my backyard for now so I didn’t want to perform anything to be able to review regarding crash worthiness.

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
So far this is a great trainer for collective pitch helis. The setup was very easy and if you have a Spektrum DX6e or better, the manual provides all the necessary radio settings. I just wish I had it before I tried to fly a 450 sized heli. At least now I know how to rebuild one and that tail servos should not be accidentally used as a collective servo.

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
Excellent helicopter with surprising power for a little guy. If you want to do background flying that includes tic tocs, funnels, hurricanes, etc... This helicopter is perfect. Extremely stable if you perform the trim flight properly. Look up helifreaks “UPDATED: Here's what the 230S instructions left out!” and follow the first post for a perfect trim flight.

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
I've been flying helis conservatively for a few years, no 3d or anything afraid to come out of my comfort zone. Blade RC hit a home run with this heli. It's stable, loads of power, impressive collective, progressive flight modes and a bailout rescue how can one not get this?! It's perfect to step out of your comfort zone and let's just say I finally did some 3d flying because I felt confident enough with this bird. Nothing big but did my very first inverted hover. It's a perfect step from a fixed pitch to collective and for experienced pilots alike. Flies perfectly out of the box and transmitter setup took about 5mins.

Definitely recommend.
Thanks Amain team!

Blade 150 S Bind-N-Fly Basic Flybarless Collective Pitch Micro Helicopter w/SAFE
I am still waiting for some batteries, so I have not yet flow this Blade 150S. Like its predecessor heli, the Blade 180CFX, the 150S has a size that is perfect for yard flying and it has an all up weight that is less than 250 grams. These are crucial factors for anyone that wants to fly a high performance heli without getting into all the legal aspects surrounding larger helis. Anyone with experience with the 180CFX will note that the 150S is similar, but with a direct drive tail. I expect the 150S will fly be as great as the 180CFX, but without all the complications of a geared torque tube & variable pitch tail. So, the 150S should be a lot easier to fix when I put it in, especially tail first!
