The Avid DR10 Aluminum Steering Bellcrank Set is a must-have upgrade for any serious racer. These aluminum bellcranks eliminate flex in the steering system for maximum steering feel and response. The bellcranks are machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, black anodized, and boasts machined silver chamfers on the edges to offer a premium look. Each package includes 1 left and 1 right bellcrank and 2 aluminum crush tubes for the steering rack bearings on all B5 based vehicles (e.g. DR10, B5, B5M, T5M, & SC5M).

Updates
Avid updated the design and material on the left bellcrank (6061-T6 to 7075-T6) after quickly learning that their production units with a minimal design were not up to the task of handling the forces placed on them, especially in truck. After refunding all the customers that purchased their first production they more thoroughly tested designs to get something rigid enough without adding unnecessary weight.

Assembly Tips:
Assemble the steering rack by placing a crush tube between the two bearings on each side. For added protection it is recommended that you use blue thread lock on the button head screws going through the steering rack into the bellcranks.

Avid RC DR10 Aluminum Steering Bellcrank Set (Black)
These, along with an aluminum steering rack, have made all the difference on a DR10. With the stock plastic steering parts, I was constantly adjusting the trim during runs. The front-end is much more predictable.
