Upon close inspection, subtle details emerge on the driver's side of the car, including a paint scuff on the door accompanied by a silver line above the handle. An intriguing anecdote surrounds the #2 Roundel on the driver’s side door, inviting further exploration. According to an account relayed by the man the myth the legend Carrol Shelby to Steve, the left-side door handle had a tendency to lift at high speeds, prompting the pit crew to secure it with duct tape to prevent mid-race mishaps. Additionally, the race number #2 on the car's sides featured special "roundels," crafted from a highly reflective 3M material to enhance visibility during pit stops.
