The 1UP Racing TS100 Pro Pit Soldering Iron brings forward the next generation in racer-oriented soldering irons! Small but mighty is the best way to describe this feature-packed tool. When connected to a 6 cell LiPo or a 24v power source, the Pro Pit Iron heats and is ready to use in under 10 seconds! An easy-to-read LCD display offers accurate adjustment of the 100-400°C (200-750°F) temperature range. 1up Boost mode offers a nearly instant temperature increase to 450°C (850°F) at the press of a button, making easy work of thick gauge wires! The Pro Pit Iron automatically cools to 200°C after 2 minutes of inactivity to prolong the life of the tip, and shuts down completely after 10 minutes of inactivity.

NOTE: Requires 12-24v DC Power Source with male XT60 connector.  6S LiPo battery or 24v power source is recommended for best performance!

1UP Racing TS100 Pro Pit Soldering Iron w/DC Cable & Leather Pouch
I was a sponsored oval racing driver in the 80's and 90's and everything was hard wired so a good soldering iron was something I always carried with me. Racing today it seems that everything has been condensed down so I finally bought the 1UP soldering iron, it gets up to 850F quickly with the 6S battery (I purchased it separately) and I seem to get a lot of use out of it for a small amount that it pulls from the battery.

I don't know how long this this device will last, it seems crazy how quickly it gets up to temp with a 3A draw for how small it is, but I wish I would have bought this sooner.

Also, if you look at the specs and do a search, you can find a 120V power supply for it on Amazon for $15.00 for those times when working from the battery might nigh be convenient. Output of 24V, 3A, 72W AC to DC Power Supply with a 5.5x2.1mm DC Output Jack is what I purchased.

I own a TS100 Input voltage is 12V to 24V which means you can power it off a PSU as well as any 3S, 4S or 5S LiPo battery.
heats much faster at 24v but 12v will get the job done.

Compact and heats up super fast. I have the Hakko FX888D, and decided to try this for the portability. This is my go to soldering Iron right now. I used it on my new b6.3,and b74.1 wires. This is a must have tool.

I wanted to wait and write this review after some time with this iron. So far it has not diassapointed. Main use so far is swapping batteries to EC5 ends and it has performed flawlessly. It's so small that it takes up so little room in the toolbox you don't mind having it with you everywhere.

This would be an awesome product if it came with a 24v power supply. It is otherwise useless without one. Our blade server power supplies do not accommodate 24v nor do racers typically have a 6s lipo.
