Yokomo YZ-2 DTM Maifield Edition 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
I picked up this kit based on a suggestion and the fact that its common to run Yokomo springs on a variety of cars due to their quality. I figured maybe try the whole vehicle. Coming from a pretty loaded B6, this vehicle out of the box is excellent. The only area I felt compelled to upgrade was the battery brace as the foam setup to me is its only thing that came to mind. Next thing, though not something I felt was an issue, was the e-clip shock shafts. They could have included more eclips in the box since those like to disappear.

If running loose conditions, it is possible to even get the vehicle to hook up there by using tranny shims and weight. In my case, I needed the DT rear conversion for low grip, combined with the tranny shims mckune or shapeways seller can make.

Yokomo YZ-2 DTM Maifield Edition 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
One beautiful buggy. Went together without problems and everything fit nicely. really engineered nicely. Still getting it dialed on the track but so far it really feels smooth on the track. Landing jumps it really feels planted and ready for what is next. Looking forward to getting this as dialed in as my TLR 3.0. I have a 17.5 in it now but am thinking of using this as a step in to mod. I'll update if I do.
