This is an optional XRAY Orange Anodized T4 2018 Aluminum Motor Mount Plate. This CNC-machined motor mount is made from premium Swiss 7075-T6 aluminum alloy material. Features extra rear-most holes for improved traction.
The motor mount plate is connected to the chassis via an M3 nut and an extra countersunk screw which can be placed ahead of the nut if more reinforcement is needed. Additionally, the nut can be removed and 1 or more of 4 holes behind the nut can be used as extra flex adjustment options.
The motor mount plate allows the use of the in-line chassis flex system.
The motor mount bulkhead is connected to the chassis by 2 screws under the lay shaft and the front mounting screw. The front mounting screw is a button-head type which is more tweak-free compared to a countersunk screw.
