This is an optional XRAY Lightweight Front Middle Shaft, and is intended for use with the XRAY RX8. For serious racers conscious of weight savings, XRAY’s optional front middle shaft is CNC-machined from world-renowned HUDY Spring Steel, and has been strategically lightened by 55% compared to the standard XRA345710 front middle shaft. The front middle shaft is highly wear resistant at its contact points, helping to increase the lifespan of the shaft bearings. Rotating mass is reduced without sacrificing strength or durability.
