Vaterra Desert Spec Pre-Mounted Tire Set (2)
I use these as alternative tire for my mini 8ight. They are slighty wider than the mini 8ight front tires and almost as wide as the mini 8ight rears. Tire height is 2.67" compared to 2.9" for the mini 8ight tires. The compound is a little on the hard side but it responds well to traction compounds like ProTek TruGrip. The don't hook up like the losi mini kingpins but they don't rear as fast either. I recommend them to anyone looking for a 1/14 scale all terrain tire with 12mm hex mounting.

I must admit....these tires/wheels came stock on my Vaterra Kalihari 4WD mini desert blaster. Each wheel has one sides outer rim larger than the other side....like a short course truck wheel. Small yet sturdy components. The harder rubber compound should help them last a while. If your current wheels/tires are egg shaped........you will soon notice how much smoother these are. If they were slightly larger....I would give them a full five out of five stars.
