If you only use one piece it will bend out of shape very easily. I doubled up and installed 2 pieces one on top of the other and used longer bolts to secure them. After a year of bashing there is no appreciable bending. 5 stars for using 2 but would only give 1 star if using 1 piece only.

Absolutely essential for the Summit and E-Revo platform if you do heavy bashing. This will prevent your rear body post getting bent backwards and ripping out the screw that holds it to the chassis in the middle. If you are running a clipless body and your rear body post rips out that screw, the body will come unhooked on every tiny bump. This brace fixes that and also provides a great spot to cable tie your ESC battery leads to so they don't flop around.
