I recently purchased a LaTrax Teton because of it's presence at the top of "Good Beginner Car" list's and after driving it I agree with those list's all be it with one exception. First off the car is amazing from the handling to the speed, but upon unboxing the package, and plugging in the charger and battery to charge, the charge indicator light, within 5 minutes claimed a full charge. Once the car was turned on and diving, it was clear the light was incorrect as the car only worked for about a minute and a half give or take. After being plugged back into the wall for thirty seconds the indicator light on the charger yet again claimed a full charge. After being driven once again, I believed the charger was faulty and called customer service, the amazing costumer service rep diagnosed the issue being that the battery had an open cell oppose to a charger issue. Costumer service is sending a new battery my way in which according to them should arrive in about a week although at the time of writing this review (6/4/20) the battery has not yet arrived, but is still within the "in a week" mark. Even though the costumer service may have been great I still would expect a working battery with a $120 dollar rc truck.

Great little bashing truck. Surprisingly tough and fast. The only negative i have is the servo sucks. Whenever you hit a wall while turning the gears strip. But there ain't nothin a little savox cant do.
