The Tekno RC NB48 2.0 Carbon Fiber Front Shock Tower is a tuning option that will improve the look and handling of the Tekno NB48 2.0 and EB48 2.0 buggies. Not only do these shock towers look great, but they can also improve bump handling and grip by being slightly more compliant than aluminum. When using front and rear carbon towers, the weight of the vehicle is reduced by 50 grams. This helps to slightly lower the center of gravity and increase corner speed. At 5mm thick they are strong and easily withstand all but the most extreme race incidents.
NOTE:
- Extend the life of your carbon fiber towers by running a bead of super glue (tire glue) around the edges of the tower to help seal and bond the layers.
- If you’re a beginner or new to racing, please keep in mind that carbon fiber shock towers are not as strong as the stock aluminum.
Vehicle Compatibility
This can be used with the EB48 2.0 and NB48 2.0 vehicles and should be a direct replacement for the stock part or used as a tuning option. Please use the instruction manual for the kit(s) listed to verify compatibility and no additional items are necessary before purchasing.
