This is an optional ST Racing Concepts CNC Machined Aluminum SCX10 Short Wheelbase Chassis Conversion. For those that are ready for something new, or those who are into custom trail rig builds, the STRC SCX10 Short Wheelbase Chassis Conversion kit will provide the perfect foundation for a 240-250mm wheelbase rig.
This short wheelbase conversion kit starts with solid 4mm CNC Machined chassis rails. These chassis rails “box-in” the center skid plate with 4mm CNC machined side plates. A full set of aluminum suspension links are included to shorten the wheelbase to approx. 250mm. Hardware and aluminum accessories are included to redistribute the weight and position the battery up front over the front axles. This wheelbase is perfect for highly detailed Tamiya Bodies from the CC-01 platform, including the Mercedes Unimog, Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Land Cruiser, and the upcoming Toyota FJ Cruiser.
