The SSD SCX10 II AR44 6-Bolt Ring Gear Set is an optional CNC machined, hardened steel upgrade for AR44 style axles. This gear replicates the stock gear ratio and features a heavy duty 6-bolt mount that increases strength and works with the SSD 6-bolt locker.

No problems yet if you are going to get this make sure you get the full front kit and rear kit comes with everything you need

The 6-bolt ring/locker was included with my Pro44 axle. The mesh is a little notchy until you install the driveshaft - just like any other spiral cut ring gear. Mine didnt need any shims or anything. Its butter smooth.

Same as other reviews, they bind. Got it to finally find a spot it turns all the way around but still can feel it binding.. stock gears were a better choice. This is a down grade

The ring gear is the 6 hole design, the picture is not accurate. No matter how I shim these darn things I get binding. Won't purchase again.

As others have had, Gears bind . With good shiming and backing off third member screws I only have one high spot on rotation. Im trying to stay away from their products.

I was prepared to shim but didn't need to. Plug n play. My stock ring and pinion were slipping under heavy load, and this upgrade took care of the problem.
