Schumacher 3x8mm Aluminum Flat Head Hex Screw (10)
Soft, weak, compared to higher quality aluminum screws.
Just barely snugging these screws up to a tightness where I worry they will work their way loose already deforms the hex socket. I exclusively used a high quality MIP non-ball end driver with these screws.
DO NOT use Loctite with these. I used a small amount of blue Loctite to hold two aluminum pieces together with these screws, one screw snapped and another stripped without any hope of coming out. Parts ruined and an entire race day lost.
Avoid these.

Bought these screws as replacements to a few 3x8mm screws I had lost removing my aluminum motor mount for my TT-02. Personally, I like hex heads a little better compared to the Phillips heads like the screws I lost.
Anyway, these screws are absolutely amazing! They’re super light weight and while my aim was only to replace the original screws, the fact they’re THAT lightweight… It still amazes me!
Now speaking about my motor mount… it turns out that I needed 3x10mm screws, NOT 3x8mm despite what my manual said! *grumble grumble*
Anyway, if you’re looking for replacement screws that are lightweight, consider these. Being a Schumacher brand part, you know the quality coming from an IFMAR champion manufacturer! Even if you’re not looking to reduce weight, these are just a great alternative.
Seriously, they’re worth every penny.
