Ruddog RP542 540 Sensored Brushless Motor (7.0T)
Wow that motor is insane for the price I paid ( it was on special ) The motor is super smooth at the beginning of the throttle and then Rips like a beast (But still controllable) I played with around 7000hz and 8000hz for drive frequency and ended with 7000hz since it packed more torque , On B6.2D I ended up with 21T with the 78T spur gear (the track is small where I run) I will also test 20T the next time I go practice and race. The Ruddog RP542 is really good quality for the price you pay. The motor never got higher than 115 F after a 5 minutes qualifier or race. The Friend I race with who's got a Hobbywing 7.5T kept screaming at me when we where racing down the straight ( He had no chance the Ruddog has so much more RPM it's not even close) . This thing is a keeper in my arsenal of motors for 2wd racing. Hope it will last a long time. Thanks A-main
