Amazing servo, nuff said. But apparently this needs to be 50 characters long so, great servo.
Very nice servo I put it in a TRX6 has an awesome amount of torque, and it is very quiet. I would strongly recommend that you buy metal servo horn, as the plastic one doesn't last long.
Already have a Reefs Triple 4 servo in one crawler and liked it; so, picking the Triple 5 for my latest build was a no brainer. Worked great on its maiden run at Moon Rocks (our most demanding crawler location in the area).
Nice that the wires from these servos are quite long.
this servo is so quiet and smooth sounding i have it in my trx4 just a heads up you with need to shave some of one side bolt holes for it to fit with all 4 bolts.but other then that its a nice upgrade ive been wanting it for awhile and i finaly broke down and got it.
Great servo! I use this in my 7+lb crawler on some aggresive obstacles, with many pinch points that other servos were unable to push out of. It can work off of a 7.4v internal BEC, but draws an average of 4-5 amps making an external BEC preferred. It's strength is understated in description, i suggest watching some test videos. It's ridiculous.
Awesome servo. High torque when you need it while being very smooth.
I really like this servo as a replacement option for the trash servos that come in RTR's. I'm using it in a TRX4 sport with the stock 1.9's and a TRX4 High Trail which comes with a lift and 2.2's. Both trucks have a little bit of unsprung brass on the front axle (not rotational) and the servo perform very well. They are powered with 6 volts and although the torque is not neck breaking, it is sufficient for what I'd consider heavy crawling use. Modulation is good. If you are looking for a servo to replace stock in an RTR, this is a good choice. For something more serious like a comp rig, or if you do not want to compromise on power and modulation, step up to the 1100 and you will not regret it.
Amazing steering great servo could use better gears though managed to strip out a non replaceable gear on the motor
I had some issues with the servo but A-Main's customer support is awesome and helped me resolve the problem.
Great product selection, good pricing and fast shipping.
This thing is a torque monster. Perfect for an Xmaxx.
Works great in my Capra plenty of power and quick response. I like how long the wires are.
This servo is smooth and quiet. Great for trail and rock crawler r/c use.
Servo is very powerful not real fast but torque is great foe my comp rigs will move the hole truck 3/4 of an inch if I want it to .
Fast Shipping and great product. Will definitely order from amain hobbies again.
I've owned my 555 for 2 years now. It's been in 3 RC models and I've never had an issue. Best servo I've ever owned. I'll be buying another one for my new Roller. I highly recommend it. Best buy for the money.
Great servo monster Torque changed the life of my crawler will buy again.
Haven't had a chance to use it, but I know this servo is legendary at torque, a little slow though.
Im impressed by the strength of this servo..
I definitely recomend for a crawler.
all I can say is this servo is a beast plenty of power on tap to steer my trx4 Bronco with a heavily modified front axle iand weighted 2.2 tires weighing in at 2-1/2 pounds combined.
this servo is extremely quiet even under load when i first plugged it in to center the arm I didn't think it was working the buzzing sound you get from most servos is nonexistent I'm curious to see how long before it starts to buzz
