Note: Use either a wax or grease on the threads to help prevent stripping while going into new or hard material. Some screws that are included in the kits remain phillip heads but are still stainless steel. We have done this for strength, as a result of our field testing, on small diameter screws (2mm and 2-56" diameter). This may include some chassis screws and differential screws. All other remain socket head.  Please refer to your assembly manual for screw locations.

RC Screwz Traxxas Ford F150 Raptor SVT Screw Set
Work well for those screws on the Slash that are exposed to the elements and water repeatedly. Would not recommend power tools for install. Do it by hand or you will strip the heads. If you upgrade other parts like the front bulkhead to metal, would recommend using stock screws there. These heads strip more easily and are almost impossible to get out once the head is stripped.
