I have not used the device, but wanted to respond regarding the use of AA batteries. It depends on the type of AA battery! they can range from 1.2V (dry cell alkaline) to 3.6V (lithium). If the other reviewers were using standard dry cell alkaline batteries, 4 AA's would only be 4.8V.

RaceTek GT Servo Tester
I purchased one through my work over 10 months ago and as I do RC tech work for Hobbytown it sees plenty of use. I run it with a 5c NiMH receiver pack and it works perfectly. Well worth the purchase. My only (half) gripe, is that the led lights on mine are SUPER bright and will blind you. Thanks for the great product RaceTek!

RaceTek GT Servo Tester
I don't write reviews often and usually only good ones, but this product is one of the most disappointing of recent memory. Don't waste your time (and money). To be fair it does make the servo move, but there is a crazy amount of jitter that causes servos to freak out and heat up. The LEDs are BLINDING bright; need to cover them in order to see anything on the front of the unit. I'm still seeing spots. I powered with a 4 AA battery pack.

bought one and very disappointed. after connecting power, makes servo very jerky. Not smooth like i have seen others when using. only used 4 AA batteries to power it...not happy
