By switching the included Type B power cord for any readily available PC-style cord compatible to the plug type used in your country, the Super Pro 40 can be used almost anywhere in the world!* The included power cord is identical to one used for personal computers, so they should be readily available in your country. This power supply features four individual 16 Amp outputs, each individually switched, as well as a single 40 Amp banana plug/binding post output, allowing you to easily operate multiple devices from one power supply! In addition, the smooth output current makes the "Super Pro 40" ideal for any item that requires a 40 Amp, 12V power source.

The compact size of the "Super Pro 40" will take up less space on your table as well as in your pit bag, and at under 5 pounds the "Super Pro 40" is effortlessly stored and transported. The "Super Pro 40" features an internal cooling system that keeps the power supply cool even when it is being worked hard, as well as current limiting, and short circuit protection circuitry to keep your power supply safe if something goes wrong. Combine this with universal output 4mm banana jacks that can also be used with clamp type connectors, and you have one of the most flexible power supplies available.

These features make the "Super Pro 40" Power Supply the obvious choice for any application that requires a 40 Amp supply.

NOTE: Ensure that you DO NOT exceed the maximum 40 Amp load when using multiple outputs.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
I was never very sure this power supply was capable of the full output as with two chargers running, I could never set the chargers high enough to pull the full 40. The main output is the only one good for more than 16amps, so I would put one charger on the main terminals at 20 amps and the other, on one of the other outputs. Anything over 6-8 amps from the second (total amp draw of less than 30) would make the power supply sag enough to make the chargers (Hyperion 720iNet3) shut down. After about 7 months of light use, I could't figure out what was burning. Took the cover off the power supply and a component inside was 500 degrees according to my nitro infrared thermo gun. I am no longer confident in using it and don't have the confidence in the quality to bother with a replacement. I knew the price was kinda too good to be true. For someone who is not going to push the unit to its limits, I am sure you will be fine, and its possible the unit I received was a weaker unit, but I would recommend getting one that is rated at least 30% above the max amperage you may need.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
This is a nice unit. I like having 40 amps to play with and the fact that you have control over the power that goes to each of your chargers. It is much larger than I was expecting. I should have done a metric conversion on the size listed within the ad to understand just how big this bad boy is. I can sit two Thunder Power TP610C Chargers on top of the Super Pro 40 Power Supply with room to spare. (I don't keep them there, this is just to give you an idea how big it is). The fan is a bit noisy but seems to keep the unit nice and cool. A good trade off. The case seems a bit cheap but is fit for purpose. With lipo technology advancing at a rapid pace, I think this charger (at 40 amps) will serve well for several years, especially as we start to charge our large capacity batteries at 2c or more. I run four chargers off this unit and don't have to worry about how many amps I'm pulling. Am I glad I bought it? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Plugged in and put two chargers and 4 batteries at 3300mah each, 1C charge rate. Voltage dropped from 13.74v to 10.9v and my Hyperion charger shut off. Ran Hyperion alone, 2 batteries at 3.3A each, dropped a FULL VOLT. >>My 14A, 6 year old Associated Power supply handles this same load like a champ. (BTW, 520W at 13.8 volts is closer to 37.7A...so don't take that 40A value to heart) >>Case is not level, very cheaply made. When shut off, it continues to run for 3-4 seconds while it bleeds off voltage. That process takes over 4 minutes. Even if you pull the power plug.>>AMain is a great shop, but this power supply DOES NOT represent their great customer service.>>Invest your money in other brands of power supplies please.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
I have to say mine lasted just past the warranty period and then thermistor Ntc 5d-20 went and I was without a power supply. After spending $150.00 on this, I'm pretty annoyed that proteck doesn't do better on their warranty. It seems like many other people have experienced the same issue. My advice would be to stay away from this brand unless they give a better warranty. When it worked it was great but Im hesitant to spend money again on this brand.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
The power supply looks great and is very light for it's ouput, however it is unreliable. Mine failed after charging about 14 - 16 packs. Due to my demanding work schedule the power supply was rarely used and only transported to the racetrack 3 times in over a year. I can't recommend something that fails with such light use (infrequently used and only charged 2S packs. Not demanding for a 40A supply!) and that was so well cared for. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
It worked great for approx 5 days. Used it to charge 8-10 batteries. I took it to a huge race (240 entries) & it would not turn on. Needless to say it nearly ruined my entire race weekend, & completely ruined my trust in the "protek" brand. I'm very upset with this product & a main for selling this piece of junk. I would recommend all prospective buyers stay away. I just hope the refund is credited to my account as quick as the debits are removed.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Awesome power supply. Matches up perfectly with my iCharger 3010b which requires 20-30amps for fast charging large lipo batteries or parallel charging multiple packs. Highly recommended!

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
The power supply is really nice. I've used it to hook up my ProTek 208B charger and am waiting for my other charger to arrive. I'll then have three chargers I can connect and test with the Super Pro 40. A Main Hobbies.com continues to provide really good service and support and have a teriffic staff who always makes you feel valued.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
works great for the fist 5-6 months, then the same problem reported from other user it does not power up, I checked in the inside and the thermistor blowed up, I never overloaded any of the outputs. In my case sending the unite for warranty is too much expensive because I am living in another country. Sorry amain you know that I buy all my RC stuff from you guys, but you really need to take care of your protek brand , lipos and power supply are expensive but the quality kinda of sucky. Update:Customer service contacted me, they gave me a good replacement option, thanks amain, you keep a good recurring customer

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Lasted about a fortnight until one day just wouldn't turn on! Warranty from Australia is a hassle (return freight etc) Lesson learnt.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
My Protek RC "super" pro 40 worked fine for 13 months, then zero power. I am scheduled to attend a short course comp. in two weeks, but not sure if I will be able to attend. It's amazing how much us RC enthusiasts count on reliable product. However, I am not satisfied with this one. I am forced to order another Protek product, mainly due to time restraints, but willing to give it one more try.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Love mine! Still using it for over year and it never failed once, going strong! I also use the Protek 620 duo and I will usually charge my packs around 8-12amps depending on what I am racing that day (most of the time I'll charge two 2s packs at a time)

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Someone in quality control must be sleeping at the controls. I had a nut jingling around inside. Other then that this is my second pro 40 my first one lasted about 2 years then the thermistor ntc 5d-20 burnt out inside. If your charging 6s batteries on higher C rating might want to get the pro 1000.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Purchased one of these when I ordered a ProTek Prodigy 610 DUO charger. All I can say is it works great! This combination of 610 Charger/Super Pro 40 power supply will easily handle almost all of my charging needs, with the added capacity to plug an additional charger into if needed. Well made.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
The Super Pro 40 Power Supply fits my needs perfectly. I fly electric heli's and this 40 amp power supply (p/s) delivers to my charger all the power it needs to charge the LiPo packs quickly with no signs of power sagging. The p/s is not too large or heavy for my taste and I am able to stack my charger on the top of the p/s without any fear of heat building up since the fan on the p/s is on the rear and the intakes are on the side. The fan is quiet and could be easily replaced by me, WHEN and IF it ever fails and if the unit is out of warranty. This is the first time I have purchased an item from A Main Hobbies. I placed this order on a Sunday evening and received it via FedEx ground (free of charge) on the following Friday. I am a happy camper, I have booked marked this site and will purchase my electronic accessories from A Main Hobbies in the future.

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
To Concerned, I've purchased one of these supplies, the Super Pro 40 about 3 months or so ago and I have a ProTek 208 charger which I have connected to the first leg of supply from left to right. And what happened is the female connection on the charger I suspect is of weak material because I had a terminal melt and the indicator light failed do to a heat related power draw by the charger. so as it is not listed on or in the manuel but the four terminals in front with switches and indicator lights only should supply 10a not the 20 that the charger is capable of charging at. However the screw nut will handle the load

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Hi a main hobbies Any chance to see one day a 220-240 Volts version for european customers? I'm a little bit jealous of you american fellows, because that power supply is exactly what I need. Only the input voltage is too low. I cross my fingers and hope it will come soon Thanks Alain

ProTek RC "Super Pro 40" Five Output World Edition Power Supply w/USB Port (13.8V/40A/520W)
Looks good, but you need to make it so that it works with 220-240.
