ProTek RC QS8 Anti-Spark Connectors are a high quality, high current connector that is perfect for high voltage applications. Not only is the connector capable of handling spikes in excess of 300 amps, the design provides an anti-spark connection that eliminates the dreaded POP when you plug in the battery helping to extend the life of the connector. High voltage bashers, speed run enthusiasts and pilots of all disciplines can benefit from this advanced connector technology.

The QS8 connector features 8mm bullets that can accommodate wire up to 6awg, inside a heavy duty nylon/fiber composite housing. Plus, an included plastic wire cap covers the soldered connection and eliminates the need for heat shrink to create an incredibly clean installation that works well, looks great and is easy to manage.

ProTek RC QS8 Anti-Spark Connector (1 Male/1 Female)
Basically a scaled up XT90S these are made for 6 AWG to 10 AWG wire, though 10 AWG is a little on the small size for these. Great for large planes and helis with high amp power systems. Need to take care soldering them to batteries due to the two terminals being right next to each other, I'd recommend putting some temporary heatshrink or electrical tape on the first soldered cup to prevent accidental shorts. You can rotate the cups around to face sideways on the male connectors like you can with XT90s but if you do this it interferes with the back shell of the connector so I don't recommend it. If you have trouble connecting them swab a little super lube or triflow grease inside the female terminal (dialectic grease does NOT affect the conductivity of electrical connections and actually helps preserve the gold plating)

Works like a charm! I have not had a spark with this new setup. You can squeeze the connectors with needle nose pliers to get a bit less binding.

This connector is a joke. It is massive big and won't fit into anything but a huge RC model.
Protein why don't you make a normal sized one? Very hard to tell size online so would have never purchased because of it's size in a store.

These connectors are garbage. Very heavy and ridiculously bulky. Also, they are a complete pain to put together because they bind. Then there’s the fact you can’t get them in single ended units makes them a complete fail.
