This is an optional ProTek R/C Titanium Screw Kit, intended for use with the Hot Bodies D413 1/10 Scale 4WD Buggy. This 87 piece kit includes the necessary screws needed to replace all stock screws in low-stress areas.

Want to take performance to a higher level? Lean up your car with ProTek R/C Titanium Screws. Featuring one of the highest strength-to-density ratios out there, titanium is strong, much lighter than steel and is one of the best ways to quickly put your car on a diet. For those who use ballast weights, titanium screws offer the advantage of lowering chassis weight before having to equalize front-to-back or side-to-side weight distribution.

ProTek R/C Titanium Screw Kits have been designed in-house by our leading technical experts and professional R/C drivers. Whereas some other brands use aluminum or low-grade Titanium, ProTek has searched for and found the best Titanium material for R/C applications. These kits are made to stringent standards to deliver the most comprehensive kit on the market. Don’t be fooled by cheaper, inferior kits that only include half of the screws you need.

To Maximize the life of ProTek R/C Titanium Screws:

  • Never use with a worn Allen hex tip.
  • Never use in areas where Loctite is to be used.
  • Never use in high stress areas, such as shock mounts or chassis braces.

ProTek RC Hot Bodies D413 Titanium Screw Kit (87)
Do not use the Ti screws in high stress areas they will snap and will bend. The m3x20 used for mounting the hing pins for the hb d413 will snap and bend.Trust me, I bent one and snapped two.Mind you I did crash at a good rate of speed. Why include these screws for this area I'm not sure? Day old ti kit two heats into racing.Seems like Lunsford has a Ti kit as well and they include that size as well? What is the grade of titanium protek is using? We all know what lunsford is using.
