OMPHobby T6 2.4GHz Radio System
This is a very very good starter Transmitter, for what it is. If you don't have a TX, and you buy an OMP M1, M1 Evo, M2, M2 Explore, or M2 Evo, make sure when you buy an OMP Heli, and get the "OMP Protcol", or it will not work. This is the cheapest transmitter you can buy, to fly your OMP Heli. If you decide you want to get further into the Heli world, or RC planes, move on after this, and buy one of the many TX's out there, that will expand and grow with you. This TX will ALSO fly the 2 OMP RC Airplanes they make. I have a lot of experience with this TX. It has taken me from absolute beginner, with an M1, and M2, to being able to fly at an intermediate level with confidence. It comes with rechargeable batteries already installed, but no charger cable. You will need a USB to USB B mini cord 2.0 to charge it. It charges quick, and holds a charge through several uses, before needing a recharge. It even has Heli Battery Telemetry, so you will know when to bring the Heli in and land it. It's also very lightweight, and the Triple Rates, as well as the "Stabilization" feature switch work great. You can also program the "Flight Controller" on the Heli with it.

There are a few cons to the TX. The gimbal sticks are adequate, but by no means feel precise and smooth, like "Hall Affect" gimbals. They feel a bit sloppy and cheap. But again, you are NOT buying a $200.00+ dollar transmitter. My only other problem with the TX is, the Throttle Cut switch is completely useless in a crash. The only way to cut the motors, is if you know you're about to crash, you will have to remember to pull the throttle control stick all the way down, pull the throttle cut switch, and push the throttle up 1 or 2 all the way up to normal, for it to cut the motors.
