M2C Mugen MBX7 Chassis w/Skid Plates

This is an optional M2C Racing Mugen MBX7 Chassis. This chassis is machined from 3.25mm (1/8") thick 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and clear anodized with machined steel skid plate inserts that are recessed into the chassis. M2C tested and tweeked these chassis to provide racers with a top notch chassis that will perform very well on all surfaces, and will stand up to tracks with abrasive charastics such as those found in the western states, up north and Canada. The design delivers a much longer chassis life than  other models as you can replace the steel skid plates and be back to a new chassis thickness.

M2C testers noticed a little more drop in the front end due to extra 5 grams of weight in the front skid plate, but not enough to effect the handling and helped to improve turn in and foward bite in most cases. It is important to note that the skid plates fit flush to the bottom of the chassis and will not effect the droop settings or cause you to scrub speed on landings.
