This is the Kyosho Electric Powered F-16 Fighting Falcon DF55 Ducted Fan Airplane. Heralded as the real pilot's fighter jet, the F16 Fighting Falcon was designed to be small, fast and lethal without all the bells and whistles of much larger US fighters. The superior visibility from the cockpit, the advanced radar systems, and the close-range weapon systems make this the ideal fighter for air-to-air combat. Placed in service in January 1979, the Fighting Falcon still fights along side the F22 and F117 Air Force fighters today. This legendary aircraft is captured in scale detail and matching performance, as Kyosho's first DF55 brushless ducted fan RC jet.
The new DF55 is a brushless ducted fan unit with an impellor diameter of 55mm, which is 10mm larger than the popular DF45. It's installed in a hybrid foam fuselage that sets new standards for scale appearance and durability. The airframe can handle the higher loads that result from the exceptional performance of the bigger ducted fan while remaining incredibly light. The F16 is factory assembled with the brushless motor, micro servos and brushless speed control installed! All you need to do is install a LiPo battery pack and a receiver of your choice, and you're ready to fly one of the most high-performance ducted fan jets available.

Kyosho EP F-16 Fighting Falcon DF55 Ducted Fan Airplane
For the money this is a great jet! I'm on my second one. Literally wore out the first one, had hundreds of flights on it. This thing looks great in the sky! It is a blast to fly. The only downside is you must use a 1200MAH or smaller battery. That means you get about 3 to 4 minutes of flight time. Still enough time though to have some fun. It is VERY easy to put together. Just supply your own battery and receiver and it is a great little jet, it is pretty fast too!! I give it 5 stars!

Kyosho EP F-16 Fighting Falcon DF55 Ducted Fan Airplane
This F-16 is beautiful, very scale looking and the quality of the details and finish is awsome. Building the plane take me about 2 hours and everything goes in place without problems. The electronic and EDF unit work perfect and with a 1300 mAh Zippy filghtmax battery that weight about 105 G, the COG is righ on spot. The maiden flight went just great !! A fews clicks of down elevetor and the plane was going straight and level. The speed of this jet using the stock set-up is very impressive, very fast. the F-16 is very easy to control in the air even at half throttle. The plane does not rolls super fast because it have no ailerons but if you set the control horn to give the tailreon the maximum of travel, the plane will be very agile. It also glide very well at low speed when its come the time for landing. Overall a very nice Jet, very nice looking and fly like a charm, highly recommend.
