For the most part, this tool isn't really necessary for it's intended purpose most of the time but I do have a Nova 28-5 where this is going to be very useful as intended.
What I actually bought this for is those really tight servo arms. Removing those can be hard on the servo gears and case so I thought I'd try this. You just have to get the arm up away from the case about a MM, put a M3x12 button or flathead screw in about half way so the arm has room to move up. Put this tool in with the jaws under the sides of the arm and then tighten the handle down till it hits the screw head and then keep twisting. The arm slides right up without stress to the rest of the servo. Worked perfectly.
The size of the screw might be different for different arms and servos but for my first try, it was a 3x12.
For years, I've thought about trying to come up with this tool every time I had to wrestle a tight arm off a servo and while the price might seem a little high, it's high quality and well worth it to me.
