Hot Racing Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer Aluminum HD Bearing Steering Knuckles
Just like my review on the Hot Racing upper suspension arms, I also experienced poor performance on this product.
I installed the complete Hot Racing front-end on my UDR. After carefully examining the results and doing a full droop and full compressed tests, I quickly returned everything to the factory plastic front-end.
Reason is because the knuckles stick out too far and is causing my dog bones to come out with a gentle pull. Compared to the factory front-end, the dog bones don't even come close to coming out. It stays halfway inside the cup even on full droop. But using the Hot Racing front (upper, lower, knuckles) the dog bones sit on the very edge or brim of the cup. Slight pull and it'll come out. I didn't test drive my UDR because I did not want dog bones coming out and damaging other component. Also measured my camber with stock vs HR, and the front camber is completely gone compared to factory. GPM and Vitavon has better results and basically has the factory specs.
Contacted HR but they have not gotten back to me yet. Poor customer service as well.
