This is the RealFlight Flight Simulator Basic Version with Interlink Mode 2 Controller. New RealFlight Basic gives modelers all of the essentials needed for an ultra-realistic R/C flight simulator experience. Along with an excellent variety of aircraft and flying sites to choose from, potential flyers will also enjoy the same flight physics that have made the full version of RealFlight the best selling sim for the past 11 years! RealFlight Basic features many aircraft and flying fields found in current versions of RealFlight G4.5 and Expansion Packs-not stripped down, low quality ones. The Basic controller is based on an actual transmitter, unlike those found on similarly priced flight sims. RealFlight Basic offers all of the fun, convenience and educational benefits of simulated R/C flying-for less!

RealFlight Basic includes 47 different aircraft ranging from gliders, sailplanes, foamies and 3D aerobats to electric and 3D helis!

Great Planes RealFlight Basic Version w/Interlink Mode 2 Controller
Just getting into R/C flying and wanting to save some money, I decided to try the "Basic" and I am very pleased! The system loaded into my laptop with ease and so far it has exceeded my expectations. Plenty of planes and Helo's to choose from with excellant graphics and enough choices that challenge my newby level.

Great Planes RealFlight Basic Version w/Interlink Mode 2 Controller
I loaded this Real Flight Basic on my sony laptop computer yesterday and operated the simulator for a few hours. It is well worth the price. I've been a computer flight sim enthusiast (normal aircraft sims, military sims, and rc sims) for about 15 years. With the great Nvidia brand video/graphics processor in my sony computer and the advanced RealFlight software, the video image quality and resolution is noticeably more crisp and life-like than ever before. The image of the moving aircraft is super smooth and accurate with none of the stutter and jerkiness we saw in years past.

My only minimal disappointment with RF Basic is that too many of the airplanes are the same type of 3D/pylon racer style. I would rather have had more scale civilian and warbird types. But there is a decent variety and I'm still happy to have bought this item. The helicopter selection is pretty good.
