The Element Enduro 1/10th 4WD Rock Crawler Builders Kit is a performance rig built to endure. At the heart of the Enduro is the revolutionary Stealth X gearbox. Although the exterior appears to have a conventional 3-gear transmission look, the inside is far from conventional. The Stealth X features the ability to adjust the rear drive ratio independently from the front drive in three levels. Stock overdrives the front end 5.7%, option 1 provides a one-to-one drive ratio front to rear, and option 2 overdrives the front end 11.83%.

Feeding the power to the tires are 3-piece telescopic driveshafts with an extruded aluminum center section, universal front drive axles, and hardened steel ring and pinion gears. The Builder’s Kit includes machined steel versions of the 5.7% and 11.83% transmission gears. With the Enduro drivetrain, delivering useful and reliable power will not be an issue. The steering link assembly has been relocated from the conventional location to behind the axle (BTA). This feature greatly improves approach angle and front-end clearance, making rough terrain much easier to handle.

Knowing that every build is different, the Enduro allows the ability to choose the wheelbase length that suits most bodies on the market. The included optional rear links allow builders to choose from among the 12.3, 12.0 and 11.8-inch (313mm, 305mm and 299mm) wheelbases.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
The Element Enduro Builders kit is a decent kit overall. I built a Traxxas TRX4 Sport Assembly kit earlier in the year and wanted something different even though I was very impressed with the TRX4 Sport. For $240 on the Element Enduro you do get a nice kit, but there are some things that left me wishing for more namely that it had plastic wheel hexes, plastic pivot balls, plastic shock towers and panhard mount. All of these items I upgraded during the kit build and see those upgrades as necessary. I bought the STRC front shock tower/panhard mount when the Element Hard versions would have probably done the job. I bought Samix metal pivot balls and Team Associated metal shock bushings too. Pivot balls are tough to install anyways and plastic ones are really tough to install and have them operate smoothly especially if you booger them up installing them. The metal ones in my opinion were necessary and you need 20 of them. You need 8 of the shock bushings too. A few things mentioned in the manual are not included in the kit: green slime and thread lock would have been a nice touch as included in the kit, but they were not. Green slime is under $3 per tube and a small tube of thread lock would have been about the same so it's disappointing they are not included. The section in the manual where you build the links has a photo of the completed link and the rod end orientation which is nice, but a big oversight or missed opportunity is that the photo (that includes the measurements) is not to scale! Its somewhat close though which is goofy as all get out. Its just a marketing or engineering oversight possibly, but it would have been super nice to have those to scale. The manual has the screw descriptions and all of those are to scale and the flap its included on allows the builder to pull it over for each page of the manual which is nice, but again the missed piece on making the link photos not to scale is kinda a bummer. For the most part the soft plastic pieces are fine, but its necessary to have the hard versions for the steering and castor blocks. the section where it says to screw in the castor block until the ends meet..yeah dont do that or it'll split. Just get it snug or use the hard versions (ASC42073). I hate to compare, but its unavoidable after building the TRX4 Sport just a few months before. For what you get for $240 on the Element you should expect to pay around $40 to get it up to snuff and at that point you are at the TRX4 Sport kit price without a body and tires. I'm not a fan of RTR's and credit Traxxas with the RTR revolution so i'm not a Traxxas super fan, so this is all from experience building the two kits

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
The build was great, instructions are clear and easy to follow. Once i got this built and ran it for the first time I was very surprised. This truck climbed some spots my fully tricked out Axial rig could not, and it did it basically box stock. No doubt this is a top quality kit, and I highly recommend it.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
I’ve been in to RC for over 30 years and And most of that time have been in to 1/10 scale off-road racing as well as 1/10 scale on-road racing. I stepped away A few years ago selling everything and decided to give scale/crawlers a try. This kit went together with so much ease. The instructions are great, but there were a couple times you couldn’t tell the direction a part went together without skipping ahead a few steps. Element needs to make a few adjustments to the manual as well as making the images of the many of the parts like bearings, links and so on 1:1 for ease of building. Especially for beginners. Overall a great experience and time building the kit. Thinking of getting a second kit for a different style build.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
Great kit and a fun build! There are always some improvements to be made, but for the pricepoint this cannot be beat. I do wish the kit came with a proper metal servo horn though. The one I had laying around did not fit very well so I had to order another one that is a lot slimmer to avoid hitting the BTA steering link.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
Very nice kit, clear instructions and a lot of fun to build. Transmission is very smooth and shocks work extremely well. Picked up metal pivot balls and STRC chassis brace and metal shock tower / pan hard to shore up the weak points, performs well on my local trails.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
A fantastic kit! Fun to build, and quality parts. Everything went together smoothly and the finished product works great. The manual had a few fiddly steps where the pictures were hard to make out. I'd also like to have seen taller rear body posts, as the included ones don't fit the Pro-Line 73 Bronco with the stock sliders. The kit shocks are amazing and was happy to see all metal transmission gears. Would recommend this kit to anyone wanting a fun build at a good value.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
This builder kit is amazingly detailed. Instructions are clear and concise. The parts are bagged and numbered by the order of assembly making it easy to build. There are many options when building to allow for different outcomes. I believe building this kit was the most fun I have had in quite some time. My only regret is what to do now that it is done. Enough about the build, the crawler is great to watch as it climbs over unbelievable rough terrain with ease. Suspension does a wonderful job and adds realistic feel. Great job. Highly recommend this.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
This kit went together really well, the instructions are clear and the finished kit is an amazing performer. There is a lot of adjustments that can be done. You can over drive the front axle so that it spins faster than the rear for better climbing and it also has multiple rear links included to change the wheel base to 3 different sizes. Take note, there is no bumpers included but SCX10 and TRX4 bumpers are compatible with this kit as I used the SSD narrow winch bumper. The price of this kit is amazing for what you get and after its built this kit will amaze you.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
Serious kit for serious performance out of the box. I hate building and this was actually fun to build. Shocks are some of the best in a crawler kit. Wish they put the hard plastic in the builders kit but those items are not that pricey.

Totally love it! Bought this kit to compete. Shocks are awesome. Need to be dropped for CG reasons, but that’s all you need to improve.

Element RC Enduro Sendero 1/10 Rock Crawler Builders Kit
KIT box interior was something else, dig it. well more and more hop ups on the way they are like potato chips just can't eat one.
this build will be featured on Tamiya Club under the AKA Ella Brood.
so far all the #er bags are there. out of all the AE products i have had i'm sure with all that has been done and then add some more. i have no worries, these kits are what i breathe. sorry to see their on road vehicles are no longer. i believe the FT bearings are Fast Eddy's.
anyways thanx to the previous reviewers it always helps to make a valid decision(so much more than when i built my SCX10) this is only my fourth crawler/trail 4x4. i do not think my HPI recon counts lil' sucker's too fast.
yes this review is just on physical in hands inspection of kit for now, if the Element is at all like any of my other AE's then nough said. This build will be Epic.
