For the beginer;
Phenomenal motor and an exceptional price. Have purchased two for some o.s. rigs and one for backup. These outperform the mods of the past that ran me upwards of 80 dollars back in the day. They are freakishly fast, responsive, and a more than adequate upgrade to your 27 turn rtr. However, make sure that your ESC can handle the nearly 40% increase in power consumption (lower turn). A very, very inexpensive upgrade compared to the cost of a brushless system. I have been involved in r/c for twenty years and do have modern electronics in new r/c's and I'm impressed with this motor and AMain.
