The Dusty Motors Traxxas Slash 4X4 LCG/Rally 1/10 Protection Cover is a high quality, hand made, dust and water splash proof shroud, designed specifically for the LCG chassis Slash 4X4 and Rally 1/10 models. The shroud features a zipper access opening, helping to simplify connecting/disconnecting batteries and accessing the power switch, eliminating the need to remove the shroud every time you need access. The shroud is made from high quality, breathable material that is strong, durable and efficient. The open area of the material is more than 50% of total shroud surface, so it allows excellent airflow to keep the model electronics cool, while preventing debris, moisture and other contaminants from getting in the chassis.

Plus, each shroud includes a 19" length of Shock absorber cover that you cut to length, as needed for the shocks on your model! The cover is made from elastic material that will stretch over shocks of different diameters. One included length of a cover will be enough for approximately 4-8 shocks, depending on the length of the shocks your model is equipped with.

NOTE: During extended running sessions, it is recommended that during breaks the shroud is unzipped to allow the ESC and motor to cool quicker.

Dusty Motors Traxxas Slash 4X4 LCG/Rally Protection Cover (Black)
These covers do a good job of protecting the interior of the Rally from debris. Installation was a bit difficult and the side body protectors had to be removed to get the best fit but I don't think this will be an issue long term.

Make sure to clean the body really well so the adhesive on the velcro can stick to the body.
