The innovative canopy is both streamlined and moisture resistant, and features a reliable screw-less quick latch mount that makes component access quick and easy. The arms can be folded up to reduce the overall size for transportation, and the industrial grade fiber composite plastic rotor blades can fold to make transportation even easier. Plus, the lightweight motor mount housings feature Aligns embedded carbon technology, that makes them tough and easily visible, while providing shock absorbing characteristics.

The multi-function system control panel includes a power button and a battery status indicator. The power button eliminates any complicated power on sequences. Just a simple press of the button and the machine is powered up. The battery status indicator displays live battery capacity for a quick view of remaining power, and the APS-M status indicator has been integrated so the pilot can identify the current flight mode.

The Align BL4213 370kV brushless motors feature Align's core motor technology for high torque, high efficiency, low power draw and low temperatures. The superior performance enables flight times up to 20 minutes on a single 22.2V 5200mAh battery. The 40A ESC's are embedded into the motor mounts, and can reverse rotation for sport flight, and a high luminous LED light is embedded to allow easy orientation. The LED lights can be switched between red and white, as well as provide low voltage warnings. The quick release battery mounting plate and rail allows fast battery replacement. The double decker battery mounting plate design provides numerous battery options and variable CG adjustment, with the ability to carry up to a single 22.2V 12,000mAh battery. Gold plated 100 amp bullet connectors with a patented anti-spark system helps to eliminate long term wear and damage to electronics from poor connections, with a safe and reliable connection option.

The APS-M auto pilot system uses high precision sensors and modern system control subroutines to deliver superior performance and cutting edge technology. Flight modes include attitude, GPS speed, GPS angular, intelligent and manual. Additionally, it features GoHome failsafe, low voltage failsafe (through LED indicator and auto GoHome), OSD signal output, gimbal control, and fix point survey functions. The intelligent Power Control Unit acts as the center piece for power and signal management, distribution and control. With a single battery, the system distributes power tot he motor, flight control, gimbal, retract downlink system and more. In addition, it integrates all signals between the APS-M, G2 or G3 gimbal (optional, not included), OSD and data downlink system. It also controls the gimbal's panoramic photo mode, fix point photo mode, and retract system. The system will power off in 3 minutes after the aircraft has landed and remains stationary. The PCU system provides the most safe and reliable management of all power and signals on the aircraft.
