This is the Sanwa/Airtronics MT-R FH5 4-Channel 2.4GHz Radio System. Priced to take on mid-level transmitters and packed with high end features the MT-R is an excellent choice for beginners to experts. Using Sanwa Ultra Response technology, high resolution FH5 RF mode and SSL code 10 compatible this transmitter offers a secure fast connection to your model. Designed as a replacement for the popular MT-S transmitter the MT-R delivers the same proven performance as it's predecessor with added features and performance. This combo includes one RX-493i receiver and the transmitter requires just four AA batteries to get up and running.

- RESPONSE OF TELEMETRY SYSTEM
- It is often said that telemetry system reduce response speed. However, SANWA Original Data Processing and Algorithm Design makes Telemetry possible without response speed reduction.
- Sanwa's Excellent Telemetry System has no response speed reduction.
- RESPONSE MODE
- Please do not use Analog Servo for SHR mode, SSR mode or SUR mode. If analog servo is used for SHR mode or SSR mode, the servo will be broken and will not work.
- Digital servo (PGS, SRG, Digital ERG, SDX series) can be used both for NOR mode and SHR mode.
- SUR mode can be used only by PGS series servo
- In SHR or SSR mode, BL-FORCE, BL-SPORT, F3300, SBL-02 and SBL-03CR do not work.
- Please use NOR mode for the above ESC.

Sanwa/Airtronics MT-R FH5 4-Channel 2.4GHz Radio System
I got this as a birthday gift from my wife. I am very happy with it. I am just 7 months in this RC hobby and I am getting more and more serious about it. I started with 2 Traxas RTR and 1 Arrma buggy. I built a Tamiya TT02 few months ago which required me to buy a transmitter. I bought a cheap Radiolink and survived with it for few months. Recently I bought a more serious kit, ARC R12. It is about the same time that I got this Sanwa. I can tell you that it is worth every peny. It is so much better than the RTR and also so much better than the cheap Amazon remote. I believe that a lot of people has the impression that it is hard to use but that is not true. I learned a lot using it for 3 days. I love the response and its accuracy. I feel like I am pointing my finger to the car Im controlling. It goes where I want it to go. I love its size and I also like the backlight of the screen. I compared it to the top of the line M17, I already saw the difference. The M17 has bigger and colored screen and has more advanced features but someone told me that this has a lot of M17 features. So if you are just using basic functions plus some adjustments or tuning, this can definitely win races. Most importantly it wont hurt your pocket. Definitely I recommend this item. Sanwa in my opinion is better than futaba. Compared to Futaba 4pm, this is way better.

This 4 Channel radio is very easy to setup further lots opton provided. Its come with the booklet require little bit of reading for program the radio.I am using for 1/8 scale buggys.

Great Radio system only 4 channels which is enough for what I need plus it’s a Sanwa you can’t go wrong with it.

Good thing I researched this before I made the plunge... This, along with the new Sanwa radios, ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with the previous FH4, FH3 and FH2 receivers. So if you have multiple cars like me, this is not the radio to buy. Looks like the only option is to get the more expensive M17.
