HW Platinum 260A HV V5 Brushless ESC (OPTO) (700-800 Heli)

Hobbywing Platinum 260A High Voltage V5 Brushless ESC (OPTO). Equipped synchronous rectifier drive efficiency optimization technology (DEO-Driving Efficiency Optimization) that makes the throttle response more linear and drives more efficiently! Four different flight modes, Fixed-wing mode, Helicopter external speed-setting mode, Helicopter elf-speed mode and Helicopter storage fixed-speed mode for an extremely convenient and enjoyable experience! while the helicopter speed-control function provides adjustable speed sensitivity and easy operation with more stable main rotor speed and excellent fixed speed, in the case of rapid load changes and the time selection function for stall landing that can be manually adjustable within the time set to avoid a crash due to handling errors!

In addition, the Platinum 260A HV V5 comes with an output interface to showcase the motor speed output in real time, a Flight data recording function that can record the minimum voltage, maximum temperature, maximum current and calibration speed (Requires OTA module - Sold Separately). When it comes to protection, Platinum 260A HV V5 is fitted with built-in multi-protection functions and anti-spark circuitry that effectively protect and prolong the lifespan of the ESC.

Hobbywing Platinum 260A HV V5 Brushless ESC (OPTO)
Plugged mine into the bec (7.4v) to get the software update and the update stalled, quit responding then went dead after five tries. Could a swore I saw a tiny puff come out of it? No smell though? I also tried powering it up with half voltage on 7s. But no joy. Amain was on it the next morning and their customer service is amazing. They gave me a link to contact Hobbywing. However Hobbywing started insinuating that I installed it incorrectly and began playing games. I have three esc's in my helis wired in exactly the same way with hundreds of flights on them. Not so happy with Hobbywing whatsoever but the guys at Amain are outstanding. I put in a different esc the next day and it runs perfectly. We will see what Hobbywing actually does when they get it back.
