Spektrum RC Firma 85 Amp Sensorless Brushless Smart ESC & Motor Combo (4000Kv)

The spektrum firma 85 amp 4000kv brushless sensorless is beyond bad @$$ and powerfully fast...i first had it in a 1/12th scale Wltoys124019 and with 2s and larger rear tires even there was absolutely no cogging at startup and in fact it wheelied off the line and when I put the 3s in it was doing backflips off the line when I'd punch the throttle so I then installed it into a 1/10th scale 2 speed crawler from gmade.net GS02F BUFFALO kit and the low speed is very controlled and the hi input really spins the wheels when needed... The versatility of this esc and motor combo is phenomenal from my experiences with it so I'm very ecstatic because this is my 1st spektrum buy and now going to be the only product I purchase... I just started RC Cars as a hobby 3 months ago and never looking back... I bought cheap escs and got tired of them blowing right away so I spent the little extra and I see why paying the little extra in one purchase is worth it... If there is anything else www.amainhobbies.com would like reviewed I would be more than delighted to give my input about products...

Product lasted less than 10 runs using a 2s lipo, shaft in motor completely severed. Do not recommend.

Spektrum RC Firma 85 Amp Sensorless Brushless Smart ESC & Motor Combo (4000Kv)

Super easy to install. Instructions clear. Fit and finish v. Good. Minor issue in that the double tap for reverse znd single pull for forward feature is reversed. Throttle is not reversed. Will consult internet snd local Gurus in Bermuda to fox. Infraction runs faster than stock now.
Next upgrade will be steering servo.
