Since then, Yokomo has been working very hard with current IFMAR World Champion Ryan Maifield, 4-time IFMAR World Champion Ryan Cavalieri, 2017 IFMAR 2wd Buggy 3rd place finisher Lee Martin, & lead track engineer Shin Adachi to bring the next level of performance to Yokomo with the YZ-2 DTM3!

I’ve owned other name brand kits. This was my favorite and highest quality kit I’ve built and driven to date. I built it to Maifields setup. Love this car. I’m going to be selling some other manufacturers cars to buy another one of these. Ran my PB on current clay layout in the first battery pack

Quality, fit and finish on the Yokomo buggy is spot on. With some setup work for my local track the car has been an absolute blast to drive! Another cool thing is the car with all steel hardware, no LW parts or any of that the car weighed in at 1500, pretty light. So it's a great car for both Mod and if anyone plans to run stock with it. Highly suggest it to anyone looking for a competition 2wd buggy kit.

Top tier 2WD Buggy. Great quality parts and fit and finish is 2nd to none. I added a few of the Yokomo aluminium hop up parts. Awesome buggy.
