The Yokomo YD-2RX Limited Edition 1/10th scale Rear Wheel Drive Competition Drift Car is a top of the line kit that is designed for pure competition, and driver seeking a platform that offers incredible rear traction. Thanks to it's rear traction focused design, component locations have been planned accordingly to ensure proper and perfect chassis balance despite the rearward located motor and electronics. The 2RX Chassis and Upper Brace are unique to this platform that allow for heavy items such as the battery and ESC to be located as rearward as possible, and deck mounts to be mounted as forward as possible. Paired with various option parts found in the R series, the 2RX provides incredible aesthetics, value, and performance all in one box. Styling is up to you, and drivers can opt for stealth black, bright red, and vibrant purple anodized components to suit any favorite aesthetic.

Yokomo YD-2RX Limited Edition 1/10 2WD RWD Competition Drift Car Kit (Black)
I choose the incognito "Black Version", there is no difference in performance between the various colors - just the color of the parts.
It is a Yokomo Kit so you know the fit and quality are top-notch with no missing parts.
Quality of Kit: Excellent, High-Quality Carbon fiber, screws, and other hardware/parts.
Assembly: I suggest always build on a flat surface to ensure you do not tweak the chassis. Allow an afternoon to build the kit at a leisurely pace. I rate this as an intermittent level kit. Builders need to pay attention to the instructions and breakout diagrams. There are some small differences in parts and assembly and orientation.
Instructions: Very Good, bags are Numbered, Pages show bag Number with parts required per step.
Tools: OK, the tools provided are the standard stamped cast type kit tools. Suggest you acquire quilty 2.0 hex, 1.5 hex, and nut drivers to make the build more enjoyable. Lube is included - requires to open the transmission to apply. Shock Oil is also included.
Design: This is a rear motor setup. I already have a front motor setup and wanted to try this design. The kit is highly customizable and includes a few extra caster/camber parts to your liking.
Overall the kit went together with precision and is a top-quality kit.
